From October 2013 to January 2014 The Overlanders embarked on a 4-month 12,500 mile expedition through Central America in an antique Land Rover Ambulance called Dougal. Read all about the once-in-a-lifetime sights we saw and activities we did; some of the best food we have ever tasted; the friends we made along the way (and enemies); the unscheduled stops in mechanics; and the reason why we had to return to the UK early. It’s all here, along with pictures and videos, so click away…

In Autumn 2015 we set off again on an 18-month expedition of South America. We plan to visit all 13 countries, including Easter Island and the Galapagos. We will be returning with our new overland machine, a 15-year old Land Rover named Kermit, which has been modified by Gwyn, who has turned him into the ultimate go-anywhere camper. Wish us luck and enjoy the adventure with us :)
To tie you over until we get back on the road, here are a few images from our South American mini adventure.
